Accessibility
We want this website to be easy to use for everyone, regardless of ability or the technology you use to browse it. We've built it with WCAG 2.2 AA as our target standard.
What we've built in
This site includes a number of accessibility features by design:
- Keyboard access. Every link, button and form field can be reached and used without a mouse.
- Visible focus states. You can always see where keyboard focus is on the page.
- Skip-to-content link. Lets keyboard and screen reader users bypass repeated navigation.
- Semantic structure. Clear headings, landmarks and descriptive page titles throughout.
- Labelled forms. Every form field has a visible label and clear error messages.
- Respectful motion. Animations are minimal and respect your reduced-motion settings.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is something we keep working at, not a box we tick once. If you come across anything on this site that's hard to use, we want to know about it.
